In this short documentary, Thy Will, Not My Will, we follow the inspirational story of Christina Pascua, who was involved in a devastating car accident at the age of 21 years old. Despite a successful life-saving surgery, she had become paralyzed from the neck down and was told from the doctors that she would never be able to walk again. See how this accident challenged her and her faith to become the woman of God she is today.

Sherwin Acidera, director of this short documentary, Thy Will, Not My Will, is a film student graduate of the Academy for Creative Media at the University of Hawai’i at Manoa. He enjoys making films that are positive + inspiring, allowing the audience to reflect on life.

    God does work in mysterious ways. I am so thankful that God put Christina in my life. She has brought out the good in me. Always reminding me to have faith, and trust God. I always felt that God has reasons for everything we just dont see it. Her story is truly inspiring. She has touched the lives of many.
