I am so proud of the young people in our community. This video gives a glimpse of the spirituality which really does undergird so many of the activities in Castlewood. They are great kids. This is a technically well done video as well. I am honored that they asked me, a Presbyterian pastor, to be a part of it. It is so much different than when I was growing up – when Catholics and Protestants barely tolerated one another, and religion was a taboo topic of discussion.
by fair the best, you put a smile on Jesus face THANK YOU
I loved the video. I really appreciate anyone who is willing to take a stand for God, especially the students at Castlewood. When I see young people put their faith in God, I put my faith in the future, because I know it is in good hands.
We were so pleased to receive this video from our grandsons at Christmas time. It truly shows the deep religious feelings in our community. It is so important for our children to be
instilled with the power of prayer in whatever they may be doing. The majority of our youth here are working together, regardless of their religious upbring, to bring good examples to all of us.
We are so proud of them! This is a video for ALL ages. Thank you.
A well done video. Gives me goosebumps seeing young people joined together in prayer. Thank you young people for sharing the amazing power of prayer.
A great group of students put together an inspirational video that will have a positive impact on everyone that views it!
Being one of the students that put this together it’s amazing to see how our video has impacted the town and others. Some adults didnt realizes that they’re young people did this and when they did they were amazed. Amazed that young people in this day, when praying isn’t the “cool” thing to do, do pray to our amazing Creator. Even if we don’t go all the way and win we’ve already had such an experiance with the town. Its great
I praise and thank the Lord for kids like you! Remember the rewards you will receive for taking a stand for the Lord Jesus…”And I assure you of this: If anyone acknowledges me publicly here on earth, I, the Son of Man, will openly acknowledge that person in the presence of God’s angels.” Luke 12:8 And even if we don’t lift the name of the Lord up, scripture tells us in Luke 19:40, “If they kept quiet, the stones along the road would burst into cheers!” I certainly don’t want a bunch of rocks out-doing me! God’s amazing blessings to all of you kids…I’m proud of you for carrying Jesus into all areas of your life!
Father Ken, Your words and explanations of the Lords Prayer were very moving and insightful. If I can keep in mind your explanations of the prayer it helps keep my mind on the prayer instead of roaming. Thank you to everyone involved in this video, it was wonderful and it’s so wonderful to see everyone in the community encourgaging our youth to pray together and out loud. The important element I thought was it didn’t matter the religious affiliation – it was the togetherness with the Lord in their lives. The community is to be commended.
I may be somewhat prejuiced as I went to school with Father Kenny and I’m so proud of him and his work! Good luck to everyone.

Well done to everyone involved in this video explaining and witnessing the Lord’s Prayer involving Christian faithful, school and community!
I received this video from my grandson, Canyon Ching, for Christmas. His older brother Carver is the speaker, #4, by the Blessed Virgin. It was by far the best present I could ever receive. On Christmas Eve our family watched it – you could hear a pin drop! The Castlewood sport’s teams quite often make it all the way to the State Tournaments and they did so again this year. When I watch them pray before games, I can almost feel the Holy Spirit at work! What a wonderful example of Christianity at it’s finest. To see young athletes, of more than one religion, come together and not be afraid to pray in front of many people is truly God’s way.
Thanks to the CCD class and their teacher, also the clergy, and the athletes!
This is a great piece of work for its ecumenical spirit, relevancy to youth athletics, its insightful explanation of The Lord’s Prayer and its inspiration on the binding power of prayer. Many will benefit from this short video.
Thank you! Suzanne
