LOUISVILLE (May 15, 2015)–Youth and parish groups, schools, families and filmmakers can learn more about Mary, the Mother of all, by hosting a movie night or viewing of short films from the 2015 “Power of the Rosary” Film Contest.
Visit http://goodnessreigns.com/vote/ to watch, vote for and discuss your favorite films and also enter a drawing for Rosaries blessed by Pope Francis.
Why the Rosary? This form of prayer is like “praying the Gospel story,” as it focuses us on the life of Jesus through the human who knew him best, his mom.
Viewers have until May 31 to vote. The winning filmmaker will be announced June 1 and will receive $1,000. Top films will be shown during World Youth Day 2016 in Krakow, Poland.
“The Power of the Rosary” Film Contest is sponsored by Our Lady’s Rosary Makers and organized by Goodness Reigns, a 501(c)3 non-profit seeking to inspire the creation of faith-based media and art.

About Our Lady’s Rosary Makers
Our Lady’s Rosary Makers was founded in 1949 by Xaverian Brother Sylvan Mattingly, C.F.X. on the premise that he would teach people to make Rosaries and distribute them freely to missionaries. OLRM provides support, resources, and materials in the spirit of Br. Sylvan’s mission and vision. We are a member-driven, 501(c)3 non-profit, Catholic lay apostolate within the Archdiocese of Louisville. Our diverse and active members spread devotion through the Immaculate Heart of Mary by making and sharing the Rosary with the world’s spiritually needy.
