Through a grant from the Our Sunday Visitor Institute, Goodness Reigns will once again host an international film festival of faith-based films during World Youth Day 2016 to be held in Krakow, Poland.

The news arrived to Goodness Reigns on the Feast of the Annunciation, which corresponds with the first mystery of the Rosary. This is perfect timing as the non-profit’s current contest is “The Power of the Rosary.” With this funding, Goodness Reigns will be able to show top films from the Rosary contest to an international crowd of young people.

The 2015 “Power of the Rosary” Contest is being sponsored by Our Lady’s Rosary Makers International. From its humble beginnings in 1949 through the efforts of Brother Sylvan Mattingly, CFX, (founder of OLRM) individual rosary makers have provided over 200 million rosaries freely to those in need around the world. The need continues today as 14,000 rosary makers strive to meet the need for missionary rosaries.

It’s not to late to participate! Whether it be a friend or family’s experience or an event in history, share a story on the power of the Rosary. The winning filmmaker(s) will receive $1,000. Top films from the contest will be played during the 2016 WYD Film Fest. The deadline is April 19, 2015. For details, visit www.GoodnessReigns.com.

Finally, stay tuned for further information on the topic of
